Hua Hin is located on the west side of the Gulf of Thailand. It is Thailand’s oldest beach resort, established over a century ago by the Thai royal family, who still maintain a palace there. This is a relaxed destination, grown up around an old fishing village that still maintains much of its original character. It is especially popular with families and golfers (there are nine superb golf courses around the area). The kilometer-long sandy beach, the variety of water sports, dining and entertaining facilities present every opportunity for a delightful vacation. Cha Am, approx. 20 kilometers north of Hua Hin, becomes more and more famous as a resort area with fine hotels set among palms beside a long wide beach. In Pranburi, approx. 45 minutes drive from Hua Hin. You will find another sandy beach, ideal for a relaxing escape from modern stress. All these resorts offer an excellent choice of hotels.
How to get there: From Bangkok Airport or city hotels, transfer is by road to Hua Hin (3.5 hours), to Cha Am (3 hours), or to Pranburi (4 hours)
